Tatsumi made her AV debut in the January 2008 video Not Naked, A Real Race Queen (全裸未満 現役レースクイーン?) with the Alice Japan studio.[4] and as of mid-2010 had made approximately 24 AV films with the same company. Tatsumi's first three videos for Alice Japan, Not Naked, A Real Race Queen, Circuit Queen and Real Race Queen Photo Society all played on the theme of her former role as a race queen.Tatsumi has been a best-selling actress since her debut, ranking #48 in the DMM website listing of the top 100 actresses in DVD sales for the first half of 2008.[9] In March 2009, Tatsumi was the star of the video Cutie Alice, The First, inaugurating a new series to celebrate Alice Japan's 25th anniversary in adult video.[10] Later that year in June, she was one of the AV actresses invited to the VenusFesta2009 in Shibuya, Tokyo, an event sponsored by AV studios Alice Japan, Max-A and Kuki featuring games and photo sessions.
